Hazy Day

Another small plein air piece I got the chance to do last Friday. I was going to paint a rather large boat that I saw docked near the edge of the Ohio River, but with no one around, and it being Friday the 13th, I wasn't taking any chances with that. It all seemed a little too creepy for me. So, I settled on this field over at Lunken Airport.

Flower Urn

This painting is a recent plein air that I did in a local park. I painted this late in the day when there was some very nice light outside.

Tomato On A Ledge

This is a recent still life painting that I very much enjoyed doing. It's very simple, but I had a lot of fun with this one! It will publish tomorrow on Daily Paintworks 'What's New' page.

Small study from Air Force Museum

This small study is of some WWI or WWII (not sure which) airplanes from the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. The painting generated a lukewarm response from my husband.
Enough said.
