Outer Banks Dunes

This painting was done recently in my studio from a photo I took on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It was a fun painting to do, but painting a landscape in the studio from a photographic reference just does not compare to painting on location!

Memorial Day Plein Air

I painted this small study about a month ago on Memorial Day. For those who know the Cincinnati area, this was painted over in Ault Park.
